Sumatra Travel Tip No. 5 Many of the toilets in Sumatra won’t have toilet paper – there will either be a “bum gun” or a bucket of water for cleaning. Bring your own tissues or wipes to dry off, but make sure not to flush them down the toilet – put them in a provided rubbish bin or your own sealable plastic bag to dispose of later.
