The United States has carried out fresh airstrikes on ISIS targets in Syria under Operation Hawkeye, following the deaths of three Americans. According to United States Central Command, the operation was launched in direct response to a December 13 ISIS ambush near Palmyra that killed two U.S. soldiers — Sgt.
