Searchlight has found a new star for its upcoming film Behemoth! in none other than Will Arnett, who Deadline reports will now join the project and star alongside Pedro Pascal, Olivia Wilde, Eva Victor, and Matthew Lillard.
But the Duffer brothers, co-creators and showrunners of Stranger Things, have ruled a sequel out, saying making such a thing would come across as a “gross cash grab.” In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Matt Duffer explained why the Season 5 finale works as the definitive end for the story.

Stranger Things ends with Season 5 Episode 8, dubbed The Rightside Up, and an epilogue set 18 months after the events that showed the destruction of the Upside Down, the death of Vecna, the apparent death of Eleven, and the rescue of the kidnapped children.
At the same time, the final battle between Eleven and Vecna mostly involves them tossing each other around a sandy cave, and lacks the emotional resonance of a similarly staged battle in Season 4 that had the benefit of being fought inside a Hawkins Middle School dance.
