I prefer the living room setting for most of my gaming. RTS and things like WoW are obviously better suited to close distance monitor viewing but the majority of my gaming these days is console.
Our TV viewing distance is 12 feet (I measured it to be sure). What size widescreen TV would we need? We're estimating between 37" to 45" but I'm told there is a 'golden rule' of sorts that works it ...
