To make sure the change applied to the correct file types, review the list below the "Set default" button. To easily open Chrome later, add a shortcut to your taskbar:
Change the phone number on your account & how it's used You can add, update, or remove phone numbers on your Google Account. Phone numbers are used for different reasons, and you have controls to manage how your numbers are used.
Under "Contact info," click Email. Select Google Account email. If you can't open this setting, it might not be possible to change your email or username. If your account's email address ends in @gmail.com, you usually can't change it. If you're using a Google Account through your work, school, or other group, ask your administrator for help.
In the web interface, whatever account you sign into FIRST is the "default" account for other Google products and services. So if you want to change, sign out of everything and then sign into the new default account first before adding any others.
Change or add a recovery address The recovery address allows you to receive an e-mail to reset your password if you need it. Your recovery address should be an email address that you use regularly. To change it:
